Seems a silly question, but my bleeder is not in the usual location for a GSR... upper water pipe fitting on front upper passenger side... anyone know where it was moved to on later models?

Don't quote me on this but I believe honda did away with this on newer models. The hole is cast in the pipe but there's no bleeder there anymore. To bleed your system, let your car idle with the radiator cap on loose. Make sure the fan kicks on at least once before you tighten the cap.

I don't believe my 96 GSR has a bleeder.

Ladies and Gentleman...
Honda's PCD (product cheapening dept) did away with the bleeder valve in '96. Thus, the best way to "burp" the cooling system is to jack the front of the car up so that the highest point in the system IS the radiator cap... by a good margin. Then, simply fill the car until coolant runs over the top of the radiator. Cap the system and start the car. As Fred mentioned above, run the car for a few minutes until the fans kick on and off a few times. You should be just fine after this.

Do what they said, and while it's idling you can also squeeze the upper radiator hose to ease out any air that's hung up in there.
